I am interested in research and pedagogy in the area of the natural sciences. My work encompasses the area of integrative and comparative environmental physiology and diversity of organisms. I study aquatic organisms to understand their relevance, ecology and impact on human communities. I seek to inspire and encourage young scientists to persist in the sciences using field trips and citizen science techniques.
